Property Surveys

.

What is a survey and why is it important?

How many times have you bought something from a shop or online only to return it because it wasn’t what you expected? What would happen if this was you home and you couldn’t take it back?

You are about to make what could be the biggest purchase in your life and would you want to do that without checking what you were getting, first? That’s the purpose of a survey; it can tell you that what your buying is the right price, and whether it’s good quality or not. A more detailed report might even help you negotiate a better price on your purchase.

All surveys should be undertaken by a suitably qualified surveyor who  should be a member of RICS

If you still don’t think a survey is necessary click the on the links below for a comparison of different survey types and an example of what the report might look like.
